Calling all cooks

Friday, February 26th, 2010
I’ve been selling kitchen gadgets for almost 30 years, but this one has me stumped. I think that it could be a chocolate shaver, or maybe for truffles. Any ideas???

Finally found a Great Source

The oil and vinegar with a grape at its heart
I actually lost my source for these little treasures. With all of the bread dipping still going on-these are a must, but have been very difficult to find. This one is sturdy and will relly do the trick, plus it’s very pretty. The Grape Cruet oil & vinegar decanter is reminiscent of the vineyard harvest. Unique gift idea. Each Grape Cluster Cruet is beautifully hand blown by artisans in Europe. The grape cruet is elegant, yet not delicate, durable and practical. 11oz

Get into the Grind

Saturday, February 20th, 2010

If you are one of those people that has frrustrated over the total failure of every pepper grinder you have ever purchased then listen up. I was one of YOU and I sold pepper grinders.

We were vacationing on Nantucket Island over twenty years ago, and roamed into a kitchen store. It was there that my husband remarked that “they” had a pepper grinder that really worked. I promptly came home, contacted the company, and began selling them in my store. It was “love at first grind. ” The love affair has never ended. Today it is still the favorite of our household, as well as a pleaser for my customers. To my delight “Cook’s Magazine” rated this the “number ONE” peppergrinder on the market . Please seek this one out Unicorn Magnum Plus Pepper Mill . It’s easy to fill, works like a dream, and you need to join the club of Happy Grinders.http://desideesreno.com/index.html

ANY SHARP KNIFE SHARPENER

ANY SHARP KNIFE SHARPENER

Just about everyone fights with sharpening their knives. I can’t think of a single person who doesn’t want a sharp knife, as dull knives are dangerous. The kicker is that there is seldom easy success in the kitchen. Ta Dahhh!!!! I have found a little magician that will make you look Oh so good, and you won’t rip and shred yourself in the process.

*Whether you’re slicing meat, chopping vegetables, or crafting wood, you’ll want your blades to be at their sharpest.
*Regular use of even the highest quality blades will dull their edge, resulting in a loss of accuracy or the need for more effort when cutting.
*The AnySharp Global Knife Sharpener uses new, patented knife sharpner technology, making it superior to any knife sharpening steel or stone.
*Unlike other knife sharpeners, AnySharp is totally safe to use, because your hands are always away from the blade. Most impressive is the ability to sharpen serrated knives (like bread knives or hunting knives). It takes no more time than a standard blade, and the results are exceptional. (Not suitable for extremely fine-toothed serrated knives).
*The PowerGrip suction cup means you can attach the AnySharp Knife Sharpener to almost any surface, horizontal or vertical, without the need for tools. And since it is so small and light, it can be easily tidied away in a drawer, cupboard, or tool box when not needed.
*With a blunt knife, AnySharp will hone it to a perfect angle, and remove excess metal rapidly. *Once sharp, better results are gained by using only light pressure, and only microscopic amounts of metal are shed.
*AnySharp is a an eco-friendly product that makes your knives perfectly usable again.
*AnySharp Global is the best knife sharpener you will ever use. Guaranteed.
*Manufacturer Warranty: 10-year No Quibble Warranty. Capacity: 10,000 operations

You will be shocked with just how many things you can sharpened-scissors, lawn mower blades, you bring it on-it will be sharp.

Sharp Deal, 23 April 2009

(Redditch) – Having tried many devices including a whetting stone I did not hold out a lot of hope for this one. You do need a very smooth surface to stick in on but it does exactly what it says. The blades are now razor sharp. The only one it has had a problem with so far is a de-boning knife which is very recessed at the blade hilt – it’s not possible to sharpen the first inch of it. All the standard cooks knives are like new again – the Sabatiers can split hairs.

Maggie I bought one of these sharpeners at the Good Food Show. It is without doubt the best and easiest sharpener I have used, so much so that my friends wanted to have equally sharp knives and scissors. AnySharp Global The World’s Best Knife Sharpener
